Gladys Marie (Hughes) Huff, age 69, of Brighton,
Michigan, died Thursday, March 18, 2010. Gladys was born August 3, 1940 in Java, Virginia to Garland P. & Elsie W. (McGregor) Hughes. Gladys married David Huff on November 26, 1988. Gladys worked at Packaging Corporation of America, enjoyed building bird houses and bird feeders, gardening and spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband: David, 2 daughters: Kario (Greg) Breunnemer of Fowlerville and Connie (Ray) Osan of Howell, 3 step-children: Jim (Joanne) Huff of Howell, Steve Huff of Indian Trail, North Carolina and Mary Huff of Ann Arbor and 11 grandchildren, 2 sisters in law: Donna Hughes and Patsy Hughes and many nieces & nephews. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers: Floyd Hughes Sr and Arthur Kenneth Hughes. Services set for Monday, March 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Niblack Funeral Home, Dillingham Liverance Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Saturday and 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8 :00 PM, Sunday. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Fowlerville, Livingston County, Michigan.. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. |

Douglas Bjorge - Class of 1959
Gary Douglas Bjorge, 68, died Monday, August 10, 2009, in Britton, Michigan.
Born in Dearborn, Michigan on April 10, 1941, he was the son of the late Irving and Evelyn Smith Bjorge.
He is survived by two brothers, Alvin (Marilyn) Bjorge and Dennis (Debbie) Bjorge, a sister, Janice (Paul) Wiekierak, as well as a step-daughter and several step-grand children. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patricia Bjorge Shreve.
Burial was in the Cadillac Memorial Gardens West Cemetery, Westland, Michigan. |

Gallegly Ward - Class of 1959
Karen Gallegly Ward, 68, wife of Richard C. Ward, died Thursday, August 6, 2009, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Knoxsville, Tennessee. Her husband Richard, was killed in the accident, which occurred on August 4, 2009.
Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on January 25, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John and Dora Evelyn Flanagan Gallegly.
After graduating from Wayne Memorial, Karen attended Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky, where she met her husband of 49 years. Richard.
She was a faithful and loving wife and mother, a dedicated Christian and an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Lexington, Kentucky.
She was a member of PEO, was active in Bible Study Fellowship, sang in the church choir, had been a Sunday School teacher and lived her faith.
Karen had taken up oil painting and had become an accomplished artist in recent years.
She is survived by two sons, John Ward and his wife Julie of Hebron, Kentucky, Jeffrey Ward and his wife Yvette of Indianapolis, Indiana, two grandchildren, Lauren Ward and Ryan Ward, a twin sister, Sharon Turkett and her husband Ron, of Lexington, Kentucky, a sister, Kay Jones and her husband, Reverend Jim Jones of Waterford, Michigan.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church, 150 E High St., Lexington, KY 40507 or to Georgetown College, 400 E. College St., Georgetown, KY 40324
Burial was in the Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Kentucky, through the Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home, Versailles, Kentucky. |

Nancy
Kay (Ross) Reincke - Class of 1959
East Lyme,
Nancy was born on April 10, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Calvin & Katherine Ross. After graduating from Wayne Memorial High School, Wayne, Michigan, in 1959, she attended Olivet College, Olivet, Michigan
She then worked as a supervisor at Michigan Bell Telephone Company until she met the love of her life, Richard. Although she moved to Connecticut after her marriage to Richard in 1971, she always remained a true fan of the Detroit Lions and kept in contact with her friends in Michigan.
Nancy worked at SNET until 1977, and then she and her husband Richard became the propprietors of Western World Clothing Store from 1978 until 1980. In 1980, they moved to Stoneingham and managed the Sixpence Inn Motel until 1989.
Nancy and Richard moved to Niantic where she
worked for Smith Insurance for the last 19 years.
Nancy is survived by her beloved husband of
38 years, Richard Reincke of Niantic. She is also survived by her
sister, Terry and brother-in-law, Larry Wood, of
Services will be private, and there are no calling hours.

Carolyn received her Bachelor's Degree from
Lakeview College of Nursing, Lakeview, Illinois and was a Registered

Nina May Kates Willett - WMHS Class of 1959, age 67, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away on December 25, 2008.Nina was born June 5, 1941, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of William and Betty Hasbarger Kates. Beloved wife of Ronald Willett, dearly loved mother of Greg (Leslie) Willett and Chris Willett. Beloved sister of Sarah (Wiley) Keen, Lenna Dearth, Delores Ann (Alvin) Griffin and Bill Kates. Nina graduated from Wayne Memorial High School, Class of 1959 and attended Henry Ford Community College and Eastern Michigan University. She worked for the Wayne Eagle Newspaper for 12 years and was an accountant for Detroit Unity Temple for 23 years. Nina was also a freelance accountant with numerous clients. on Saturday, January 10, 2009, at 11:00 AM, at the First Congregational
